The Washed Coffee Process
Considered the most coffee forward method of extracting coffee beans from the cherry using water and agitators. This process results in arguably the cleanest coffee taste.
Once the coffee cherry shows the desired ripeness, the outer layers of the fruit are removed. The inner bean is then soaked and fermented.
The soaking process lasts for several days and helps determine what beans are adequate for drying.
The beans are then drained and laid out in the sun to dry out for 1-2 weeks. The final layer is removed before the bean is then prepped for shipping.

We roast to order so allow 3-4 business days before your coffee is shipped. We are not open on Saturday or Sunday, so any orders placed over the weekend will be fulfilled the following week. Holidays can also cause delays occasionally so please allow extra time if ordering during or before nationally recognized holidays.
